Head of Zelenskyy's office on threat from Belarus: nothing will happen suddenly

Kyrylo Budanov, Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, has said Ukrainian intelligence is monitoring the situation in Belarus and does not expect any sudden threat to Ukraine.

Details: Responding to a question about Belarus potentially being drawn into the war against Ukraine, Budanov said that "anything is possible in life" but stressed that intelligence agencies have increased vigilance.
He noted that signs of potential threats may exist, but the situation remains under control.
Quote: "There may be certain signs of threats. This cannot be ruled out. As a former head [of military intelligence – ed.] I can tell you: vigilance must be increased, first of all by intelligence agencies. They have already done so. Do not worry. Nothing will happen suddenly."
Background: On 20 April, Colonel Andrii Demchenko, spokesperson for Ukraine's State Border Guard Service, said that Ukrainian border guards had not recorded any movement of equipment or concentration of forces near the border on the territory of Belarus.
