Russians hit Kherson and Mykolaiv oblasts, killing two and injuring five – photos

Russian forces carried out drone strikes on civilians in Kherson and Mykolaiv oblasts on the morning of 24 April, killing two people and injuring five others.

Details: Russian forces struck a moped with a drone near Zelenivka, killing a 68-year-old man and a woman whose identity is still being established.

At around 08:20, a car was targeted by a drone in Kherson's Dniprovskyi district. A 72-year-old man sustained blast injuries and shrapnel wounds to the head and chest and was taken to hospital.
At approximately 07:20, two women aged 68 and 59 were attacked by a drone in Bilozerka while walking along the street. Both suffered blast injuries, while the older woman also sustained shrapnel wounds to her arm and leg.

In Mykolaiv Oblast, two women were injured following a morning Shahed drone attack and falling debris. A 45-year-old woman suffered minor injuries, and a 68-year-old woman experienced an acute stress reaction. Both received medical assistance at the scene and declined hospitalisation.
The Russian forces also damaged two houses.
