Air defence deployed in Kyiv: Russian drone debris falls in capital

Air defence systems were deployed in Kyiv in response to Russian drones, with debris falling in the Solomianskyi district.

The mayor reported that UAV debris fell at two locations in the Solomianskyi district – in a non-residential area and into a body of water.
Background:
- On the night of 23-24 April, Russia attacked Ukraine with two Iskander-M ballistic missiles and 107 strike UAVs; Ukraine's air defence downed 96 Russian drones.
- Two ballistic missiles and 10 strike UAVs were recorded hitting nine locations, and debris from downed UAVs was found at two locations.
- The Air Force warned that the Russian attack is ongoing, with several Russian UAVs in the airspace.
