Details: Bucha Mayor Anatolii Fedoruk joked that "the probability of meeting Prince Harry in Bucha is low, but never zero".
"I am grateful to the Duke of Sussex for the visit, for his attention to Bucha and our tragedy, for his humanity and support of Ukraine. Light is always on the side of truth, and today it is with us," he noted.
The specific day on which Prince Harry visited the city is not reported.
Background:
- Prince Harry arrived in Ukraine on 24 April and participated in the Kyiv Security Forum. Among other things, in his address he called on the US, as one of the guarantors of the Budapest Memorandum, to demonstrate its leadership in supporting Ukraine.
- US President Donald Trump initially deflected questions about this appeal and subsequently stated that he does not regard the prince as someone who speaks on behalf of the UK.
