Ten-hour Russian attack on Dnipro: two killed, 21 injured, people still trapped under rubble

Two people have been killed and 21 injured, including a child, in a combined Russian missile and drone strike on the city of Dnipro on the night of 24-25 April.

Industrial facilities, high-rise residential buildings, houses and cars were damaged.

A search and rescue operation is ongoing in the city, with people believed to be trapped under rubble.

Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Military Administration said the attack had lasted for over 10 hours. Eleven people have been hospitalised, with one in a critical condition.

Background: A series of explosions was heard in the city of Dnipro on the night of 24-25 April. Large fires were reported, residential buildings were damaged and at least 18 people were injured. Search and rescue operations are ongoing.
