A series of explosions was heard in the city of Dnipro during a large-scale combined Russian drone and missile attack on the night of 24-25 April. Major fires have broken out, residential buildings have been damaged and casualties have been reported.

Details: Loud explosions were reported across the city from around 23:00. Local media reported that a large fire had broken out in one district following the blasts.

Ukraine's Air Force had earlier warned of attack drones and ballistic and cruise missiles heading towards Dnipro.

Update: Hanzha said several fires had been recorded across the city and residential buildings had been damaged.

Quote from Hanzha: "Three people have been injured in the Russian attack on Dnipro. A four-storey residential building has been partially destroyed. The enemy also struck an industrial facility. Information on the aftermath is being confirmed."

Update: Hanzha reported at 05:00 that the number of people injured had risen to four.

"These are women aged 41, 44 and 58 and a 41-year-old man. All have been hospitalised. They are in a moderate condition," he said.

At least 14 people were reported to have been injured as of 06:30, including a child. Buildings, businesses, cars and a shop were damaged in the city.

Quote from Hanzha: "A nine-year-old boy has been injured. He received medical treatment and will continue recovery at home.

Nine people have been hospitalised. All are in a moderate condition."
