Over 20 people killed and injured in Kherson Oblast in one day

Four people were killed and 18 others injured in Kherson Oblast as a result of Russian attacks on 24 April.

Details: In particular, a resident of the village of Poniativka was taken to hospital in a critical condition in the morning, with a severed part of her leg and head injuries following a Russian attack the previous day.

On 25 April, two more people were injured in the Korabelnyi district of Kherson due to Russian drone strikes.

At 05:00, a 60-year-old woman came under attack, and 40 minutes later, a 57-year-old man was hit. They sustained shrapnel wounds, concussions, blast injuries and closed head traumas.

Both are currently in hospital in a moderate condition.

According to authorities, on 24 April, Russian forces damaged an apartment building and four houses, as well as a warehouse, agricultural machinery, lorries, a minibus, a motorcycle and vehicles.

Background: On the night of 24-25 April, a series of explosions was heard in Dnipro during a large-scale combined Russian attack. Large-scale fires were recorded, buildings were damaged, and at least 18 people were injured. Search and rescue operations are ongoing.
