Two people were killed and seven others were injured in a combined Russian attack on Chernihiv Oblast on the night of 24-25 April.

Details: Chernihiv Oblast Military Administration said Russian forces struck the city of Nizhyn, likely using a ballistic missile and Shahed-type drones.

The two killed were men aged 30 and 60. A 54-year-old man was taken to hospital with shrapnel wounds. An elderly woman was also injured.

In the Horodnia hromada, dozens of houses were damaged in the attack, with five people reported injured. [A hromada is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories – ed.]

Drones also struck a hospital in the city of Semenivka.

Chernihiv Oblast Military Administration said there were 27 attacks on the oblast over the past 24 hours.

Background: Four people were killed and 21 injured, including a child, in a combined Russian missile and drone strike on the city of Dnipro on the night of 24-25 April.
