Ukraine's defence forces struck the Yaroslavl oil refinery in the Russian city of Yaroslavl on 26 April, causing a fire.

Details: The General Staff also reported strikes on Russian military trains in the temporarily occupied part of Donetsk Oblast.

It also confirmed hits on 24 April on a Kasta-2E1 radar station in Melitopol, Zaporizhzhia Oblast, and a Pantsir-S1 anti-aircraft missile and gun system in Mariupol, Donetsk Oblast.

For reference: The Yaroslavl oil refinery is a strategically important plant and one of the key facilities in Russia's oil-refining sector. Its processing capacity is about 15 million tonnes of oil per year.

Background: It was reported that drones attacked the Yaroslavl oil refinery on the night of 25-26 April.
