Overnight Russian strike on Sumy damages houses and shop

Russian forces conducted strikes on the city of Sumy on the evening of 27 April and on the night of 27-28 April, damaging residential buildings, a shop and a car park.

Details: Russian forces struck another car park in the Kovpakivskyi district of Sumy in the evening.

An overnight drone strike hit the same area, damaging five houses and a shop.

"Windows were shattered in the buildings," the city administration added.

Background: Russian forces attacked Sumy and Dnipropetrovsk oblasts on 27 April, killing a 68-year-old man. Three people in Sumy Oblast sought medical treatment following the strikes.
