Details: The Svitlych-662 is a full-colour camera with a resolution of 1920×1080 that connects via the MIPI CSI-2 interface, enabling direct integration with single-board computers and minimal latency for computer vision (CV) algorithms used in image and object recognition.

The device is designed for UAVs, ground robotic platforms, and stationary observation points, particularly systems that use computer vision.

According to the company, the camera provides a "twilight vision" effect, with the new-generation sensor delivering Full HD (1080p) images even in very low light. The MIPI CSI-2 interface reduces latency and motion blur when running computer vision algorithms.

The camera is compatible with microcomputers, particularly Raspberry Pi, and supports stable operation thanks to ready-made drivers. It can be adapted for different tasks: lens selection with varying fields of view and changes to the housing and connection type.

The device uses a coaxial cable for stable signal transmission with reduced interference and features a reinforced frame for operation in field conditions. The company also provides engineering support for integration and customisation.

Odd Systems CEO Roman Medvediev said the camera is a digital solution for extensive frontline use, tailored to military requirements and ready for mass production and deployment. He said the company's key objective is to develop optical systems that help the military carry out a wide range of missions effectively, including the interception of aerial targets.

The company noted that the Svitlych name honours Ivan Svitlychnyi, a key figure in Ukraine's national-democratic movement of the 1960s-70s.

For reference: Odd Systems, working with its sister company The Fourth Law, is part of a vertically integrated group developing AI and optical solutions, including thermal and daylight cameras. Founded in Kyiv in 2023 by Yaroslav Azhniuk, the companies operate in Ukraine, the European Union and the United States.

  • Ukrainska Pravda reported earlier that Odd Systems had presented an updated Kurbas camera line, which will be used on Zerov-8 interceptors.
  • It was also reported that in September 2025, Yaroslav Azhniuk, founder of the defence technology company The Fourth Law, announced that several products manufactured by the company had been officially approved for military service in Ukraine.
