Quote: "Today the Lukoil Perm Refinery (Lukoil-Permnefteorgsintez) is burning… Early reports indicate that the AVT-4 unit – a key component of primary oil refining – has been hit at the refinery. As a result of the strike, the vacuum and atmospheric oil distillation towers caught fire. Their damage effectively puts the unit out of operation."
Details: The SSU also struck the Perm linear production and dispatch station, which supplies oil to the Lukoil Perm Refinery.
For reference: The Lukoil Perm Refinery is one of Russia's largest oil refineries, with a capacity of nearly 13 million tonnes per year, supplying fuel to both the civilian sector and Russian armed forces.
