Raid noted that the BARS-Sarmat centre is one of the key structures involved in the development and combat testing of UAVs, robotic systems, electronic warfare (EW) and air surveillance systems, as well as command and communication tools.
According to the regiment, BARS-Sarmat was created in 2024 as part of the so-called Combat Army Reserve of the Country.
Quote: "The personnel are not regular conscripts but professional fighters and technical specialists (programmers, technologists and engineers) motivated to fight against Ukraine. The centre is commanded by Dmitry Rogozin – a [Russia-installed] puppet senator from Zaporizhzhia Oblast, dismissed in 2022 from his post as head of Roscosmos."
Details: Raid believes that the strike will reduce the capabilities of BARS-Sarmat in developing technologies that strengthen the Russians.
