Body of elderly man killed by Russian drone strike found in Sumy Oblast
Residents of the Krasnopillia hromada in the Sumy district have discovered the body of an elderly man who was killed by a Russian drone strike on his household. [A hromada is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories – ed.]

Details: Investigators have found that residents of one of the villages in the Krasnopillia hromada found the body of a 73-year-old man on 4 May. Early reports indicate that he sustained fatal injuries in his own yard as a result of a Russian drone strike.
Quote from Hryhorov: "The man had not been in contact for several days, so people began searching for him. He was found in his own garden. Nearby was a crater from an enemy strike."
Details: A pre-trial investigation has been launched into violations of the laws and customs of war combined with intentional killing (Article 438.2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). Investigative actions are being carried out by officers from the Sumy District Police Department.
