Explosion reported in Moscow, authorities claim drone attack – videos

An explosion was recorded on the night of 3-4 May in the Russian city of Moscow, about six kilometres from the Kremlin, allegedly due to a drone attack.

Details: Telegram channels reported that "an explosion was heard in Moscow".

They also posted photos of a damaged residential building, allegedly by a drone strike.

Quote from Astra: "Residents of Moscow reported an explosion on Mosfilmovskaya Street.

There is no official information."

Details: Russian Telegram channels added that emergency services were working at the scene.

Update: Sobyanin later confirmed a drone attack.

Quote from Sobyanin: "Early reports indicate that a drone struck a building near Mosfilmovskaya Street. There are no casualties. Emergency services are working at the scene."

Details: Astra noted that the distance from the scene to the Kremlin is about six km.

Update: Sobyanin claimed early in the morning that two more drones heading towards Moscow had been downed.

Russia's Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsiya) reported temporary restrictions at Moscow's Domodedovo and Vnukovo airports.
