Details: TAF Industries said the Lehit is a multifunctional platform capable of performing a wide range of tasks.

It was developed in cooperation with Defence Intelligence of Ukraine and subsequently integrated into TAF Industries' Innovation Hub defence cluster, in line with the model previously employed to bring the Babka UAV system and the Kvazar electronic warfare systems into production.

The system can be used for logistics (transporting ammunition, food and equipment), reconnaissance missions, fire support for assault units, striking fortified positions and even as a kamikaze platform.

Ukraine's Ministry of Defence has formally approved two versions for service – Lehit S1 and Lehit L1, while additional modifications are still undergoing certification.

The Lehit S1 is available in versions using fibre-optic communications, with a grenade launcher mount (two or four tubes) and a mini-trailer. The Lehit L1 comes in versions equipped with a grenade launcher mount (four, six or eight tubes), an engineering trailer for deploying barbed wire, a logistics trailer and a Pulsar turret for small arms.

The company highlights modularity as a key advantage, enabling rapid reconfiguration for different missions and the integration of multiple functions in a single platform. The system is compact and can be operated by two to three personnel, making it suitable for mobile units.

It also features a low-profile, quiet electric drive and a reduced thermal signature, making detection more difficult. Only two experts are needed for maintenance.

The Lehit S1 has a range of up to 22 km on roads (21 km off-road), up to two hours of operation and a top speed of up to 25 km/h; it supports LTE and optional fibre-optic control. The Lehit L1 has a range of up to 30 km (26 km off-road), up to 2.5 hours of operation and a top speed of up to 22 km/h (15 km/h off-road); it uses GPS navigation and supports LTE and Starlink connectivity.

TAF Industries is also developing an ecosystem around the platform to simplify operation and enable rapid battlefield response.

For reference: TAF Industries has a portfolio of more than 30 defence products, including UAVs, interceptor drones, electronic warfare systems and remote-control solutions.

It has also signed a memorandum of understanding with Summa Defence to scale up drone production.
