Ukrainian Rys PRO ground drone receives upgraded communications and improved mobility – photo

Ukrainian company Roboneers has upgraded the Rys PRO ground robotic system.

Details: The updated Rys PRO has received comms of a new level: a digital system with MESH support ensures stable connectivity even in difficult conditions.

The manufacturer also improved mobility: the operating range has been increased to 40 km, with the option of extending it to 80 km by connecting four batteries included with the system.
The updated ground robotic system also includes LTE control capability and an assault control panel for close-range infantry operations.
Situational awareness has also been improved with the integration of a rear-view camera. In addition, a Starlink Mini terminal is included in the standard package to ensure stable communications.

The manufacturer added that the Rys PRO retains its core functionality:
- payload capacity of up to 300 kg for delivering ammunition, water, food and equipment
- evacuation and transportation of wounded soldiers (with the option to install stretchers), as well as evacuation of bodies from dangerous areas
- capability to install electronic warfare systems, combat modules and additional equipment
- reinforced drive and improved suspension for operation in difficult off-road conditions
- effective operation together with the Shablia remote-controlled combat module in various configurations for assault operations.
