Russian drones strike Dnipro overnight: two injured, fire breaks out in five-storey residential building – photos

Two people have been injured in a Russian drone attack on the city of Dnipro on the night of 6-7 May, which has also caused a fire in a five-storey residential building.

Quote: "One person has been injured in a Russian attack on Dnipro. An apartment in a five-storey residential building caught fire. Several nearby houses and cars were also damaged."

Update at 06:01: Hanzha said in the morning that the number of people injured had risen to two.

"These are a 21-year-old pregnant woman and a 45-year-old man. Both received medical treatment at the scene," he added.

Ukraine's Air Force reported that the Russians had been attacking Dnipro with drones throughout the night.

Background: Russian forces attacked a distribution centre belonging to the Varus supermarket chain in Dnipro on the evening of 5 May. Four people were killed and several others were injured.
