Details: At least two explosions were reported in Grozny, according to videos circulated online. Astra reported that one strike hit the Khankala area, while another targeted territory near the city's railway station.
Khankala hosts a Russian military base and the headquarters of the 42nd Guards Motor Rifle Division, part of the 58th Combined Arms Army of the Southern Military District.
The railway station is located in central Grozny – less than two km from the residence of Ramzan Kadyrov and approximately 1.2 km from the Grozny City complex, the outlet Agentstvo reported. Astra also noted that the Chechen FSB headquarters building is located about 120 m away.
The opposition Telegram channel Niyso published a video purportedly showing a strike on an FSB building in the village of Chiulga-Yurt (Znamenskoye). "The target was accurately hit. Residents are celebrating, while the Kadyrovs are in mourning. The leadership will be displeased," the channel wrote.
The Chechen authorities have not yet commented on the situation.
