Details: The strike was carried out by drone operators from the 1st Separate Centre of the Unmanned Systems Forces on the night of 16-17 May. The unit explained that the vessel was hit 986 km from the line of combat engagement, near Kaspiysk in the Republic of Dagestan.
In the video released by the Unmanned Systems Forces, the boat fires back at the drone while moving through the water, but the Ukrainian UAV managed to approach and strike the target.

The Project 10410 border patrol vessel (code name "Svetlyak") is a third-rank ship intended for guarding territorial waters. The Russians use it for patrol operations and for countering surface targets and aerial threats in coastal areas, the 1st Separate Centre said.

Brovdi also reported that the following Russian assets and facilities were struck by Unmanned Systems Forces operators in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine:
- Tor-M2 anti-aircraft missile system in Zakhidne, Luhansk Oblast
