Details: Among those who have returned is 19-year-old Dmytro. Russians came to his home several times, smashing windows and turning the place upside down. On one occasion he was detained in a shop after a screenshot of a map was found on his phone.

Maksym, 20, was threatened by Russian soldiers with an assault rifle in the middle of the street. Students at the college he attended were under a lot of pressure to sign contracts to become combat drone operators. Some of his friends were forced to accept call-up notices.

A two-year-old boy named Artem, who was born after the start of the full-scale invasion, was also evacuated from the occupation.

"From the very first days of life, he heard only the rumble of military equipment," Bring Kids Back said. "His family lived in constant fear, because the occupiers could have come at any moment to carry out searches or detain one of their family members for having Ukrainian documents or if there was any suspicion that they held pro-Ukrainian views."

The children and seven others are now undergoing rehabilitation.
