Details: The UN reported that on 20 May, a Russian missile hit a warehouse in Dnipro rented by UNHCR.

At least two people were killed in the attack and several others were injured. The strike also destroyed about 900 pallets of essential items and housing repair materials prepared for internally displaced people and residents of frontline oblasts.

Quote: "This was the first such attack on a UNHCR facility since the start of the full-scale Russian invasion. It has not only deprived people of critical assistance but also undermines the humanitarian response at a time when needs have never been greater."

More details: The organisation also reported growing risks for humanitarian workers.

The UN pointed out that attacks on humanitarian workers and civilians violate international law.

Previously: Two people were killed and six injured in a Russian strike on the city of Dnipro on the night of 19-20 May.

Background: A warehouse belonging to the UN World Food Programme in Dnipro was damaged in a Russian drone attack on 19 November.
