Russian Telegram channels reported that a fire had broken out in Novorossiysk following what they described as a "Ukrainian attack".
According to an Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) analysis by Astra, the Sheskharis transshipment complex is likely on fire.
For reference: The Sheskharis transshipment complex is the largest oil loading facility in southern Russia and is part of the structure of Chernomortransneft, a subsidiary of Transneft. The facility handles the reception, storage and export loading of oil and petroleum products onto tankers.
Update: Astra later reported that, according to its OSINT analysis, the Grushovaya Balka oil depot is burning.
The report added that the Sheskharis complex is the final point of Transneft's main oil pipelines in Krasnodar Krai. The transshipment complex includes two industrial sites – Grushovaya and Sheskharis – located 12 km apart.
