Four killed and 25 injured in Russian strikes on Kherson and Kharkiv oblasts

Russian strikes on Kherson and Kharkiv oblasts on 22 May killed four people and injured a further 25.

Details: One person was killed and 20 injured as a result of Russian aggression on Kherson Oblast.

Russian forces targeted social infrastructure and residential areas in settlements across Kherson Oblast, damaging eight houses. They also damaged a church and cars.

Meanwhile, three people were killed and five injured in Kharkiv Oblast.

In particular, a 66-year-old man was injured in Zolochiv; a 52-year-old woman was injured in Pisky-Radkivski; a 46-year-old man was killed in Kivsharivka; a 78-year-old man was injured in Petrivka; a 53-year-old woman suffered from shock in Bohodukhiv; and a 41-year-old woman and a 48-year-old man were killed, while a 42-year-old woman was injured in Horokhovatka in the Borova hromada. Russian UAVs also struck the Nemishlyanskyi and Kyivskyi districts of Kharkiv on 22 May.

Background: Russia attacked Ukraine with 124 drones on the night of 22-23 May. Ukrainian air defence forces destroyed or jammed 102 UAVs.
