Ukraine's General Staff reports Storm Shadow missile strike on Russian forces in Luhansk Oblast

The Ukrainian Air Force used Storm Shadow air-launched cruise missiles to destroy a Russian command and communications post in temporarily occupied Luhansk Oblast on 25 May.

Details: The General Staff added that the strike "demonstrates strategic foresight, unified planning and focused action, proving that no position of the Russian aggressor is safe on Ukrainian soil".

Background: Ukraine's defence forces struck the Belets oil depot in Russia's Bryansk Oblast on the night of 24-25 May, as well as ammunition depots, logistics facilities and Russian military command centres in temporarily occupied Crimea and in Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia oblasts.
