Russian forces struck a village in the Semenivka hromada in Chernihiv Oblast on the morning of 7 June, using an attack drone damaging a private agricultural facility. [A hromada is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories – ed.]

Details: At approximately 08:05 on the morning of 7 June, the Russians struck the village of Zhdanove in the Semenivka hromada with a Gerbera-type attack drone, said Oleksandr Seliverstov, the head of the Novhorod-Siverskyi District Military Administration.

The target of the Russian strike was the territory of a private agricultural facility. A fire broke out as a result of the strike, engulfing a lorry belonging to the facility. The fire was promptly contained.

Background:

  • Overnight, the Russians attacked the Pryluky district with Geran drones, striking an agricultural company in one village and damaging administrative and operational premises. An administrative and operational building was damaged in another settlement.
  • Russian forces also struck a mine in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast twice, injuring a worker.
