Russian drone kills woman in civilian car in Kharkiv Oblast

A 70-year-old woman was killed as Russian forces struck a civilian car with an FPV drone in Kharkiv Oblast on the afternoon of 9 June.

Quote: "There were five people in the car: a man and four women. Sadly, a 70-year-old woman died at the scene from her injuries. Three other women, aged 80, 74 and 49, as well as the 62-year-old man, sustained multiple shrapnel wounds and were taken to hospital in Kharkiv."

Background: Russian forces attacked Kharkiv on the evening of 9 June, with explosions reported in different districts. Based on early reports, four Russian UAV strikes were recorded in Kharkiv.
