Details: Quick Reaction Alert teams conducted two sorties using JAS 39 Gripen multirole fighter jets after Russian aircraft were detected in the region.

Russian Su-24 and Su-34 aircraft were recorded in two separate incidents. After receiving the alert, Swedish fighter jets promptly took off to identify and escort the Russian aircraft.

The Swedish Armed Forces said there was no violation of the country's airspace. The fighter jets' actions were aimed at protecting Swedish airspace and monitoring activity near Sweden's borders.
