Man killed in Russian guided bomb strike on outskirts of Sumy

Russian forces struck the outskirts of Sumy with two guided aerial bombs on the morning of 18 June, killing a 64-year-old man who had gone fishing.

Details: Hryhorov reported that the Russians had dropped two guided aerial bombs on the outskirts of the city at around 04:00.
After the strike, relatives of a 64-year-old man contacted law enforcement officers. They reported that he had gone fishing at the river and had disappeared.
When police arrived at the scene, they found the man's body.
Hryhorov urged residents of the oblast to comply with curfew restrictions.
Quote: "My sincere condolences to the family and loved ones of the man who was killed. I urge residents of Sumy Oblast to exercise extreme caution. Please comply with curfew requirements, stay in safe places during the threat of strikes and do not stay outdoors."
