Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said that Ukraine is developing drones capable of flying more than 3,000 km and intends to continue expanding its long-range strike capabilities against targets inside Russia.

Quote: "We are now at the stage where our defence industry, our defence forces and our production sector have begun this process – bringing the war back to Russia. It will happen. They strike us every day, and we will retaliate every day. Naturally, the scale of our response will continue to grow.

Yesterday, we responded by striking an oil refinery in Tyumen Oblast. In a straight line, it is 2,070 km away. Our FP drones hit their target. Their flight route was 2,500 km. The next generation will be able to fly more than 3,000 km. These are new drones, good drones. We will keep moving forward. We know where all of their military factories, oil depots, gas storage facilities and other sites are located. We need tools that can reach greater distances, and that is exactly what we are developing."

Details: Zelenskyy stressed that Ukraine had finally begun to inflict painful blows on Russia this year.

He added that such strikes were an element of justice, which, in his view, the international community had so far failed to deliver with regard to Russia.
