Following a briefing from Oleh Ivashchenko, Head of Defence Intelligence of Ukraine (DIU), President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said that over 60,000 tonnes of ammunition were destroyed at a Baltic Fleet arsenal near St Petersburg.

Details: Zelenskyy said intelligence analysis had also confirmed that "the designated targets of Russian military production facilities had been hit".

"Ukraine's defence forces accurately struck Russian enterprises that produce radio-electronic equipment and other critical components for the needs of the Russian army," the president noted.

Background: Earlier, Zelenskyy reported that Ukrainian drones attacked arsenals and a military base in Russia's Leningrad Oblast on the night of 5-6 June.
