Emergency power outages introduced on Kyiv's left bank

Emergency power outages have been introduced on the left bank of Kyiv on the instructions of Ukrenergo, Ukraine's state-owned electricity transmission operator.

Update: Ukrenergo said the outages have been caused by a technical malfunction at one of its energy facilities.

Emergency repair work is already underway.
"The restrictions will be lifted as soon as the situation in the power system has been stabilised. Please follow updates on the official pages of your distribution system operator," Ukrenergo said.
