Over 150 patrol stations have been destroyed in Ukraine over the past two months, and oil depots and other fuel infrastructure facilities have come under attack almost every week.

Quote: "At first glance, this resembles the situation in Russia. But the outcome is fundamentally different. In Russia, strikes result in queues at petrol stations, fuel shortages in certain regions and supply disruptions. Ukraine, meanwhile, is experiencing none of these problems."

Details: According to Pyvovarskyi, the reason is Ukraine's diversified fuel market, with dozens of suppliers, multiple import routes, competition and an extensive logistics network.

He stressed that "such resilience comes at an additional cost". Companies are forced to invest in backup transport routes, maintain fuel reserves and book logistics capacity well in advance, particularly ahead of the heating season.
