Ukraine loses MiG-29 aircraft, pilot ejected, Air Force says

On the night of 26-27 June, contact was lost with a MiG-29 fighter jet of Ukraine's Air Force as it was carrying out a combat mission in Poltava Oblast.

Details: The Air Force has confirmed the loss of the aircraft.

The pilot successfully ejected, established contact with the search and rescue team, and was quickly taken to a medical facility.

Background: On the night of 26-27 June, the Russians launched 129 UAVs against Ukraine, 113 of which were shot down or jammed, Ukraine's Air Force said.
