Russians hit Sumy Oblast with aerial bombs, damaging houses and industrial facilities

Russian forces struck civilian infrastructure in two hromadas in Ukraine's Sumy Oblast with guided aerial bombs on the evening of 27 June. The bombs hit an area containing industrial and warehouse facilities in the city of Sumy. [A hromada is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories – ed.]

Details: According to Hryhorov, two guided bombs hit an area containing industrial and warehouse facilities in Sumy's Kovpakivskyi district.

Early reports indicate there were no casualties. The site is being inspected and the full extent of the damage is still being assessed.

Russian forces also reportedly dropped three guided aerial bombs on the Vorozhba hromada. At least four households in the residential area were damaged.

Information on possible casualties is being confirmed.
