Russia attacks Zaporizhzhia with guided aerial bombs: one person killed, 11 injured, including two children – photo

One person was killed and 11 others, including two children, were injured in a Russian attack on the city of Zaporizhzhia on 28 June.

Details: Fedorov reports that Russian forces struck Zaporizhzhia with guided aerial bombs on the morning of 28 June.

Initial reports indicated that two people had been injured. Authorities later confirmed that one of the casualties was a child. As of 13:25, the number of injured had risen to 11.

Medical assistance was provided to three men, six women and two children - a five-year-old boy and a 16-year-old girl.

The attack caused significant damage across the city and sparked a fire. Emergency services are continuing to assess the full extent of the destruction.

Fedorov later confirmed that one person had been killed in the strike.

In addition, Russian forces dropped a guided aerial bomb on the village of Shevchenkivske in the Zaporizhzhia district. A house was destroyed, a vehicle was completely destroyed by fire and a blaze broke out.

Two women aged 94 and 68 and a 68-year-old man were injured there. All received the necessary medical treatment.
