Details: Several explosions were heard in Sevastopol and Kerch in Crimea.
Local residents reported that an electrical substation near the village of Nekrasivka in the Bakhchysarai district on the peninsula had likely been damaged – electricity was cut off there following the explosion.
A fire also broke out in temporarily occupied Melitopol following the overnight drone attack.
Power also disappeared in occupied Donetsk at around midnight.
Saldo confirmed a widespread power cut in the region in the morning.
"All districts of Kherson Oblast have been left fully or partially without electricity," he said.
Background:
- On 26 June, a large-scale blackout was also recorded in the temporarily occupied part of Kherson Oblast, which was attributed to a failure in the energy system of neighbouring Zaporizhzhia Oblast.
- Earlier, the Russian-controlled company Krymenergo announced the introduction of planned rolling power cuts and restrictions on the peninsula.
