Power substation on fire near Moscow: two districts in Russian capital without electricity – photos, videos

A large fire has broken out at an electricity substation in Lyubertsy near Moscow, leaving two districts in the Russian capital without power.

Details: Numerous videos show smoke visible from a distance coming from the substation's territory.
Power outages began in the Moscow districts of Lyubertsy and Kotelniki. Mikhail Sobolev, Head of the Kotelniki urban district, reported that an accident has occurred at a Rosseti Moscow Region substation, leaving some areas without electricity.
The Lyubertsy administration also reported power outages. The authorities said Rosseti personnel are "establishing the causes of what happened".
Earlier on 1 July, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin claimed that six drones flying in the direction of the Russian capital had been shot down.
