Russian forces attack petrol stations in Sumy and Chernihiv oblasts overnight

Russian forces conducted four attacks on petrol stations in Sumy Oblast on the night of 2-3 July. The Russians also attacked a petrol station in Chernihiv Oblast on 2 July.

Details: Russian forces attacked the same petrol station in the city of Sumy twice. Early reports indicate that the second strike was conducted using a jet-powered drone.

Hryhorov did not specify the locations of the other two attacks.

A woman was injured in the Nedryhailiv hromada in Sumy Oblast as a result of the attack. At least three civilians were injured in the Sumy hromada. [A hromada is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories – ed.]

The Russians also launched a Gerbera drone strike on a petrol station in Ripky in Chernihiv Oblast on the morning of 2 July.
