Polish police to investigate vandalism at grave of Ukrainian poet Bohdan Lepkyi

Polish police have stated that they have conducted an inspection at the grave of Bohdan Lepkyi, a Ukrainian poet, writer and civic and cultural figure, and are establishing the circumstances surrounding the damage to the grave memorial.

Details: The press service noted that the report of the incident had been received at 12:00 on 5 July.
"An inspection was conducted at the scene, and measures are now underway to establish all the circumstances of the case. At this stage, there is no indication that the incident was ethnically motivated. The damage to the grave memorial may have occurred within the past two weeks," the press service of the Voivodeship Police Headquarters in Kraków stated.
