Trump says US will buy drones from Ukraine

US President Donald Trump has said that the United States will purchase drones from Ukraine.

Details: Trump was asked about the status of a drone agreement between Ukraine and the US.

Quote: "We would buy their drones. And we make drones. We make great drones, but they have an ability to make a lot of them. Which is [...] amazing that in a war situation they make them. They make them in basements."

Background:

In May, CBS News reported that the governments of the US and Ukraine had prepared a draft memorandum outlining the terms of a possible new defence agreement focused on drones.
Earlier the same day, during his meeting with Zelenskyy, Trump said that the US will grant Ukraine licences to manufacture Patriot systems.
