Russia has introduced a full ban on diesel fuel exports and plans to start importing fuel at the same time.

Details: Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak announced the ban at a meeting with the Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin.

More details: Novak added that Russia will start importing fuel from other countries this month.

The domestic fuel shortage in Russia has been caused by shutdowns at oil refineries and unscheduled repairs following Ukrainian drone strikes.
