Russian forces struck civilian infrastructure in Sumy's Zarichnyi district with three guided aerial bombs on the afternoon of 11 July. Four people were killed and 17 others were injured in the attack.

Details: Initially, Hryhorov said all seven injured people had been taken to hospital.

The emergency operation is ongoing, and information on the aftermath of the strike is being gathered.

The authorities are urging residents to stay in safe places and not to approach the sites of the strikes due to the threat of repeat attacks.

Update: Hryhorov later reported that a child is among the four people killed, and the number injured has risen to 17. Three people are in a serious condition.

The Russians dropped two guided aerial bombs on a crowded area. A road and a public transport stop were at the epicentre of one of the strikes. Another strike targeted an infrastructure facility.

The police reported that four people were killed in the attack, including a 13-year-old girl who was at a public transport stop.

The police said 13 people were known to have been injured. A car dealership, a petrol station, a restaurant, apartment blocks and vehicles were damaged.

Background: Seven people have been injured in a Russian drone strike on a civilian business in the Nemyshlianskyi district of Kharkiv.
