Russian drone strikes civilians in Kherson: one killed, two injured

Russian forces dropped an explosive from a drone on the Korabel neighbourhood in Kherson on the night of 11-12 July. One local resident was killed and two others were injured.

Quote: "The enemy dropped an explosive device from a drone in the Korabel neighbourhood overnight. As a result of the attack, a 48-year-old man was killed at the scene. Two other men, aged 43 and 58, were injured. They sustained blast injuries and shrapnel wounds to their limbs."

Details: Shanko urged residents of riverside neighbourhoods to evacuate to safer areas. He said the military administration is ready to help residents leave and provide the necessary assistance.

Background:

The Korabel neighbourhood in Kherson is under constant Russian attacks. Russian forces regularly target civilians and infrastructure with FPV drones.
On the morning of 11 July, Russian drones also attacked the area, injuring three civilians.
On 9 July, the Russians deliberately targeted buses and ambulance crews who had arrived to assist those injured. Two people were killed and 22 others were injured in the attacks.
