Russians attack bus and bus stop in Kherson: at least five injured – photo

Russian forces carried out two drone attacks targeting public transport in Kherson on the morning of 12 July. A bus and a bus stop came under attack, leaving civilians injured.

Details: At around 08:00, the Russians attacked a bus in central Kherson with a drone. A man who was near the vehicle was injured and taken to hospital. Early reports indicate that the driver may have sustained a concussion.

At around 09:50, Russian troops struck a public transport stop in the city's Tsentralnyi district with another drone.

A 66-year-old man and three women aged 58, 59 and 71 were injured in the attack. They sustained blast injuries and shrapnel wounds to the torso and limbs. All of them were taken to hospital.

Background: On the night of 11-12 July, Russian forces dropped an explosive device from a drone on the Korabel neighbourhood in Kherson, killing one local resident and injuring two others.
