A pre-trial investigation has been launched into a war crime resulting in a person's death under Article 438.2 of Ukraine's Criminal Code.

Prosecutors, together with investigators, are documenting the consequences of Russia's armed aggression and taking all necessary steps to collect evidence of war crimes committed by Russian forces.

Shanko reported that four settlements in the Kherson hromada had come under Russian attack over the past day. [A hromada is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories – ed.]

The settlements of Kherson, Antonivka, Prydniprovske and Sadove were targeted by Russian artillery fire and drone attacks.

Houses, high-rise residential buildings, a medical facility, civilian cars and public transport were damaged.

A total of 17 people were injured in Russian attacks across the Kherson hromada.
