Russians attack Ukrainian positions 279 times over past day – Ukraine's General Staff
A total of 279 combat clashes have occurred on the battlefield over the past day, with the Russians conducting their most intense assaults on the Pokrovsk, Kostiantynivka and Sloviansk fronts.

On the North Slobozhanshchyna front and in the operational zone in Russia's Kursk Oblast, 10 combat clashes occurred. The Russians launched two airstrikes, dropping six guided bombs, and conducted 61 strikes on Ukrainian positions and settlements.
On the South Slobozhanshchyna front, Russian forces conducted 15 attacks on Ukrainian positions near the settlements of Starytsia and Artilne and towards Izbytske, Hrafske, Lyman, Vilcha, Symynivka, Kolodiazne, Kutkivka, Sheviakivka, Khatnie and Ambarne.
On the Kupiansk front, Russian troops conducted five attacks towards the settlements of Kupiansk, Novoplatonivka and Kurylivka.
On the Lyman front, the Russians conducted 12 attacks, trying to break through Ukrainian defences towards the settlements of Lyman, Drobysheve and Ozerne and near Novoselivka and Yampil.
On the Sloviansk front, Russian soldiers conducted 22 assaults towards the settlements of Kryva Luka and Rai-Oleksandrivka and near Riznykivka and Zakitne.
On the Kramatorsk front, Russian forces conducted four attacks near the settlements of Nykyforivka and Chasiv Yar.
On the Kostiantynivka front, the Russians conducted 30 attacks near the settlements of Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, Ivanopillia and Sofiivka and towards Vilne, Toretske and Kucheriv Yar.
On the Pokrovsk front, Ukrainian defenders stopped 38 Russian assaults near the settlements of Dorozhne, Novooleksandrivka, Sukhetske, Rodynske, Hryshyne, Udachne and Novoserhiivka and towards Bilytske, Shevchenko and Novopavlivka.
On the Oleksandrivka front, the Russians conducted four attacks towards the settlements of Vorone, Kalynivske and Ternove.
On the Huliaipole front, Russian soldiers conducted 18 attacks towards the settlements of Hirke, Tsvitkove, Vozdvyzhivka, Verkhnia Tersa, Dobropillia and Charivne.
On the Orikhiv front, Ukrainian forces repelled five Russian attempts to advance near the settlements of Plavni, Bilohiria and Mali Shcherbaky.
On the Prydniprovske front, the Russians did not conduct any offensive actions.
On the Volyn and Polissia fronts, there is no evidence of any offensive Russian groups being formed in the area.
