Russia strikes Kherson twice, injuring two people

Two people have been injured in Russian attacks on the city of Kherson overnight and on the morning of 17 July.

Quote: "Russian forces attacked a residential building in central Kherson with a drone at around 00:15. A 59-year-old man was injured in the strike while he was standing on the balcony of his apartment."

Details: The man was diagnosed with blast injuries, a shrapnel wound to his left shoulder, superficial wounds to his right lower leg, soft tissue bruising to the torso and acoustic blast trauma.

A 70-year-old woman was also taken to hospital in a critical condition after being injured in a Russian attack on Kherson's Korabelnyi district at around 07:00.

She sustained blast injuries, an open traumatic brain injury and shrapnel wounds to the chest.

Doctors are providing medical treatment to both.
