Russia strikes Marshall Islands-flagged vessel in Odesa Oblast port again, injuring four
Russian forces launched a missile strike on a civilian vessel sailing under the flag of the Marshall Islands in Odesa Oblast on the evening of 17 July, injuring four crew members.

Quote: "The enemy conducted a missile strike on port infrastructure facilities in Odesa Oblast this evening. A civilian vessel sailing under the flag of the Marshall Islands was damaged in the attack.
The vessel's superstructure was damaged and subsequently caught fire. The crew of 17 was evacuated. Four crew members were injured and received medical treatment at the scene without requiring hospitalisation."
Background:
- On the evening of 14 July, Russian forces attacked a vessel sailing under the flag of the Marshall Islands in Odesa Oblast, killing two people.
- Earlier that same day, Russian forces attacked two merchant vessels sailing under the flags of Tanzania and Liberia in the Black Sea, killing the captain of one of them. Eleven crew members were evacuated ashore.
