Details: Explosions in Kotovsk were followed by a fire at a Wildberries warehouse. One employee said the warehouse had caught fire after the attack and that staff were being evacuated.

Monitoring Telegram channels suggested that the fire may have been caused by Russian air defence systems attempting to intercept drones over the town.

The city of Tambov also came under a drone attack. Russian air defence systems opened fire over built-up residential areas while trying to intercept aerial assets, with munitions striking civilian sites.

The same sources reported that electronic warfare systems had been activated in the city of Vladimir, where a high-rise residential building caught fire.

Background: Russian-occupied Crimea was targeted by drones on the night of 17-18 July. Explosions were reported and a fire broke out at the Hvardiiske air base.
